Most people know what they want.
But knowing how to get there?
That’s another story!

Let’s be honest. It’s difficult to turn a dream into reality. In a culture where style is celebrated over substance, and celebrity is valued more than character, it's easy for young people to take their eye off the ball. Too often they struggle to do what's right in an environment filled with transitions, distractions, and pressures to conform. "I Have A Dream, Too!" shows students how to navigate that turbulence with vision, courage, and persistence. But the real focus is to inspire students to do the work.

Bob Tryanski brings more than twenty years of experience as a teacher, coach, and mentor to the platform. He has an outstanding national reputation and an uncanny ability to connect with teens, to get them to think, and to help them to change their perspective. But it takes more than an inspiring speech to get results, so “I Have A Dream, Too!” also offers a blueprint for success through small group workshops, a follow up lesson plan for teachers, and a challenge grant program that offers students a chance to receive financial support to give their dreams a jumpstart.

Bob dares young people to define success on their own terms, to set the bar high without being unrealistic, and to develop the capacity to live up to the expectations they set for themselves. He also challenges kids to ask themselves what they're willing to give back to their families, their schools, and their communities in return for the amazing opportunity they've been given to write their own story in life.

Bob’s trademark is his remarkable ability to tell stories, but his stories are different, at least for a motivational speaker. Bob was not raised by wolves, his parents never set him on fire, and his life story will not be the focus of a reality TV show or your next assembly program. Instead, Bob tells stories about an amazing group of students, teachers, and parents he has met and the powerful lessons he has learned from them. The stories are filled with hope, devoid of hype, and delivered with a refreshing sense of wit and wisdom. They will stay with your students, faculty, and parents long after the assembly is over and give them the courage and confidence to say “I Have A Dream, Too!”

What's the Buzz?

I don't know about you, but I've seen a lot of lousy movies; I've read some awful books, and I've bumped into one or two mediocre motivational speakers from time to time. What's the one thing they all have in common? A page of amazing endorsements and gushing testimonial quotes!

I would much rather connect you directly with some of the wonderful people I've worked with over the years. I think you should have the chance to ask specific questions and to get a real sense of my work instead of my ability to gather endorsements. If you would be kind enough to give me some contact information, I will put you in touch with some honest, insightful, actual people.

How do we get the ball rolling?

I would love to work with you and to do everything I can to make your event enjoyable, engaging, and effective.  If you can give us some basic information about your organization, event, and desired outcomes, we'll get right back to you!

What's the bottom line?

If your school is anything like the other organizations I work with, funding is always a big concern.  Don't worry; my fee structure is simple, sensitive to school budgets, and inclusive of travel expenses.  There are also plenty of ways to reduce costs and to make a visit VERY affordable.  If you are willing to get creative, I will do everything I can to make it work.

I would love to learn more about your event and to share some ideas about reducing costs.  We might even be able to create a budget-neutral (i.e. FREE!) opportunity.
